American Express Co. fell $1.22 or 2.0 percent, to $59.52.

Capital One Financial Corp. fell $4.30 or 7.0 percent, to $57.29.

Discover Financial Services fell $.50 or 1.3 percent, to $38.79.

Mastercard fell $6.07 or 1.2 percent, to $517.28.

Visa Inc. fell $1.82 or 1.1 percent, to $158.06.
