Ascena Retail Group CFO Correia retiring

SUFFERN, N.Y. (AP) — Ascena Retail Group Inc.'s chief financial officer, Armand Correia, is retiring after 21 years with the company.

Ascena, owner of Dressbarn, Justice and other brands, said Tuesday that it has named Dirk Montgomery as Correia's successor. His appointment is effective on Jan. 16.

Montgomery recently served as executive vice president and chief value chain officer of Bloomin' Brands, Inc., whose restaurant brands include Outback Steakhouse and Bonefish Grill. He served as Bloomin' Brands' CFO for six years prior to that.

Ascena's stock fell 6 cents to $18.05 in midday trading Tuesday. They have traded in a 52-week range of $16.17 to $22.62.
