Grain futures mostly rise, livestock prices mixed


CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 4 cents to $7.5125 a bushel; March corn rose 5.25 cents to $6.8550 a bushel; March oats slipped 1.25 cent to $3.3150 a bushel; while March soybeans jumped 21.25 cents to $13.8850 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.05 cent to $1.33 a pound; March feeder cattle fell 0.22 cent to $1.5610 a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.08 cent to 86.30 cents a pound.
