American Electric Power Co. fell $.31 or .7 percent, to $42.33.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. fell $.31 or .6 percent, to $55.11.

Dominion Resources Inc. fell $.32 or .6 percent, to $51.30.

Duke Energy Corp. fell $.46 or .7 percent, to $63.25.

Exelon fell $.28 or 1.0 percent, to $29.16.

PG&E fell $.19 or .5 percent, to $39.83.

Southern Co. fell $.22 or .5 percent, to $42.46.
