Comcast Corp. fell $.06 or .2 percent, to $37.30.

Walt Disney Co. fell $.03 or .1 percent, to $49.85.

Gannett fell $.21 or 1.1 percent, to $18.16.

New York Times Co. fell $.15 or 1.8 percent, to $8.33.

News Corp. fell $.19 or .7 percent, to $25.52.

Time Warner Inc. rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $47.48.

Viacom Inc. fell $.45 or .8 percent, to $53.18.
