Kohl's Corp. fell $.18 or .4 percent, to $43.28.

Macy's Inc. fell $.46 or 1.2 percent, to $37.06.

Nordstrom fell $.32 or .6 percent, to $52.10.

J.C. Penney Co. rose $.37 or 1.9 percent, to $20.24.

Saks fell $.12 or 1.1 percent, to $10.50.

Sears Holdings Corp. fell $.06 or .1 percent, to $40.31.

TJX Companies fell $.13 or .3 percent, to $42.08.
