NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

Astoria Financial Corp. : Approximately 6,910,600 shares changed hands, a 1,014.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.32 or 3.3 percent to $9.40.

Delphi Automotive PLC : Approximately 42,177,600 shares changed hands, a 1,675.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.10 or .3 percent to $36.14.

Gardner Denver Inc. : Approximately 8,511,800 shares changed hands, a 1,020.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $8.14 or 10.8 percent to $67.40.

Herbalife Ltd. : Approximately 41,633,500 shares changed hands, a 1,506.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $6.43 or 19.1 percent to $27.27.

Holly Energy Partners LP : Approximately 591,100 shares changed hands, a 1,194.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.54 or 2.3 percent to $65.85.

Jaguar Mining Inc. : Approximately 8,770,700 shares changed hands, a 1,008.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.14 or 19.5 percent to $.58.
