NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

American Municipal Income Portfolio Inc. : Approximately 172,500 shares changed hands, a 510.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.62 or 3.7 percent to $15.98.

Blackrock Muniholdings Fund Inc. : Approximately 171,300 shares changed hands, a 477.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.47 or 2.5 percent to $18.15.

Blackrock Munivest Fund II : Approximately 242,700 shares changed hands, a 415.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.15 or .9 percent to $17.33.

Boston Beer Co. : Approximately 530,000 shares changed hands, a 413.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $6.49 or 4.9 percent to $138.87.

China Fund : Approximately 309,600 shares changed hands, a 484.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.19 or .8 percent to $24.00.

CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust : Approximately 1,006,100 shares changed hands, a 749.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.01 or .2 percent to $5.95.
