Home Depot Inc. rose $.23 or .4 percent, to $63.12.

Lowe's Cos. rose $.18 or .5 percent, to $35.00.

OfficeMax fell $.01 or .1 percent, to $9.69.

RadioShack rose $.04 or 1.9 percent, to $2.12.

Staples rose $.20 or 1.7 percent, to $11.76.

TJX Companies rose $.02 or percent, to $42.67.
