Hecla Mining Co. rose $.04 or .7 percent, to $5.79.

Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.64 or 3.4 percent, to $19.73.

Silver Standard Resources Inc. rose $.70 or 4.8 percent, to $15.37.

Silver Wheaton rose $1.18 or 3.2 percent, to $38.00.
