Amgen Inc. rose $.06 or .1 percent, to $89.80.

Biogen Idec rose $1.92 or 1.3 percent, to $155.06.

Celgene Corp. rose $1.95 or 2.4 percent, to $82.45.

Gilead Sciences Inc. rose $2.17 or 2.9 percent, to $76.42.
