American Electric Power Co. rose $.08 or .2 percent, to $43.45.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. rose $.43 or .8 percent, to $56.50.

Dominion Resources Inc. rose $.17 or .3 percent, to $51.76.

Duke Energy Corp. rose $.18 or .3 percent, to $64.50.

Exelon rose $.27 or .9 percent, to $30.00.

PG&E rose $.14 or .3 percent, to $41.02.

Southern Co. rose $.06 or .1 percent, to $43.74.
