BROOKFIELD, Wis. (AP) — Fiserv Inc., which provides technology services to financial institutions, said Thursday that it added a design firm executive to its board.

The company said Chris Flink, 40, is a partner IDEO who works on innovation in retail, education and consumer products. He is also a lecturer at Stanford University's graduate business school, the company said.

Shares of Fiserv rose 29 cents to $75.88 in morning trading, as the broader markets gained.
