Grain futures mostly rise, livestock prices rise


CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly rose Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 2.50 cents to $8.4775 a bushel; December corn rose 4.50 cents to $7.4550 a bushel; December oats slipped 1 cent to $3.69 a bushel; while January soybeans rose 10.50 cents to $14.1875 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.88 cent to $1.2895 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.50 cent to $1.4787 a pound; while December lean hogs added 0.72 cent to 82.47 cents a pound.
