Aetna rose $.55 or 1.3 percent, to $42.71.

Cigna Corp. rose $.44 or .8 percent, to $52.45.

Coventry Health Care Inc. rose $.18 or .4 percent, to $43.26.

Humana Inc. rose $.48 or .7 percent, to $67.04.

UnitedHealth Group rose $.16 or .3 percent, to $53.69.

WellPoint rose $.49 or .9 percent, to $56.06.
