Kellogg rose $.15 or .3 percent, to $55.20.

Mondelez International Inc. fell $.12 or .5 percent, to $25.29.

Smithfield Foods Inc. rose $.18 or .8 percent, to $21.91.

J.M. Smucker Co. rose $.75 or .9 percent, to $85.32.

Tyson Foods Inc. rose $.17 or .9 percent, to $19.16.
