Becton, Dickinson boosts dividend to 49.5 cents

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. (AP) — Becton, Dickinson and Co. announced a 10 percent increase to its quarterly dividend Tuesday, raising it to 49.5 cents.

The Franklin Lakes, N.J. medical device maker said the dividend will be paid Dec. 31 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 10.

Shares of Becton, Dickinson and Co. rose 35 cents to $76.14 in morning trading.
