Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. rose $.64 or 1.1 percent, to $57.04.

Best Buy rose $.23 or 1.6 percent, to $13.98.

Home Depot Inc. rose $.73 or 1.2 percent, to $62.85.

Lowe's Cos. rose $2.01 or 6.3 percent, to $33.99.

OfficeMax rose $.16 or 1.7 percent, to $9.38.

RadioShack fell $.03 or 1.5 percent, to $1.97.

Staples rose $.40 or 3.4 percent, to $12.13.

TJX Companies rose $1.22 or 2.9 percent, to $43.67.
