McDonald's Corp. rose $.73 or .9 percent, to $84.85.

Panera rose $3.34 or 2.1 percent, to $162.87.

Papa John's International Inc. rose $.66 or 1.4 percent, to $47.71.

Starbucks Corp. rose $1.07 or 2.2 percent, to $49.83.

Wendy's Company rose $.09 or 2.0 percent, to $4.52.
