Nasdaq stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading:

Ameristar Casinos Inc. : Approximately 3,377,500 shares changed hands, a 1,728.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $2.67 or 15.8 percent to $19.52.

Dial Global Inc. : Approximately 797,400 shares changed hands, a 9,036.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.55 or 76.7 percent to $.47.

Liberty Global B : Approximately 1,900 shares changed hands, a 1,675.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.64 or 1.2 percent to $56.20.

Medical Action Industries Inc. : Approximately 787,400 shares changed hands, a 2,745.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.12 or 4.6 percent to $2.50.

NF Energy Saving Corp. : Approximately 941,600 shares changed hands, a 10,419.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.16 or 16.8 percent to $1.11.
