Barrick Gold Corp. rose $.47 or 1.4 percent, to $33.74.

Gold Fields rose $.15 or 1.3 percent, to $11.69.

GoldCorp. fell $.01 or percent, to $39.85.

Newmont Mining Corp. rose $.47 or 1.0 percent, to $46.00.
