Nasdaq stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading:

Ascent Capital Group class A : Approximately 602,300 shares changed hands, a 1,906.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.16 or 1.9 percent to $58.34.

Carolina Trust Bank : Approximately 14,100 shares changed hands, a 1,842.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares remained unchanged at $2.40.

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. : Approximately 3,589,200 shares changed hands, a 5,780.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.09 or 1.9 percent to $4.76.

Innotrac Corp. : Approximately 119,400 shares changed hands, a 2,983.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.97 or 49.2 percent to $2.94.

Lakeland Industries Inc. : Approximately 69,000 shares changed hands, a 1,136.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.15 or 2.7 percent to $5.47.

MEI Pharma : Approximately 1,663,700 shares changed hands, a 1,512.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.37 or 30.6 percent to $1.58.
