NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top railroad companies were down at the close of trading:

CSX fell $.31 or 1.6 percent, to $19.59.

Canadian National Railway Co. fell $1.41 or 1.6 percent, to $85.18.

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. fell $1.14 or 1.2 percent, to $90.77.

Kansas City Southern fell $2.97 or 3.8 percent, to $74.47.

Norfolk Southern Corp. fell $1.00 or 1.7 percent, to $57.51.

Union Pacific fell $3.86 or 3.2 percent, to $117.46.
