American Electric Power Co. rose $.07 or .2 percent, to $41.34.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. rose $.07 or .1 percent, to $55.19.

Dominion Resources Inc. rose $1.02 or 2.1 percent, to $50.21.

Duke Energy Corp. rose $.56 or .9 percent, to $62.01.

Exelon fell $.30 or 1.0 percent, to $29.94.

PG&E rose $.32 or .8 percent, to $40.85.

Southern Co. rose $.37 or .9 percent, to $42.95.
