American Electric Power Co. fell $.39 or .9 percent, to $41.42.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. fell $.51 or .9 percent, to $55.23.

Dominion Resources Inc. fell $.09 or .2 percent, to $49.24.

Duke Energy Corp. fell $.43 or .7 percent, to $61.53.

Exelon fell $.16 or .5 percent, to $30.95.

PG&E fell $.17 or .4 percent, to $40.72.

Southern Co. fell $.39 or .9 percent, to $42.64.
