BP PLC rose $.35 or .9 percent, to $41.16.

Chevron rose $.54 or .5 percent, to $106.41.

ConocoPhillips rose $.18 or .3 percent, to $56.04.

Exxon Mobil Corp. rose $.64 or .7 percent, to $87.71.

Marathon Oil Corp. rose $.72 or 2.4 percent, to $30.58.
