Caterpillar fell $1.36 or 1.6 percent, to $83.66.

Deere & Co. fell $.54 or .6 percent, to $83.59.

Manitowoc fell $.67 or 4.8 percent, to $13.28.

Terex fell $.44 or 2.0 percent, to $21.99.
