Capital One Financial Corp. fell $1.13 or 1.9 percent, to $58.29.

Discover Financial Services rose $.16 or .4 percent, to $40.76.

Mastercard fell $2.90 or .6 percent, to $461.80.

Visa Inc. fell $.50 or .4 percent, to $142.06.
