NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top construction companies were down at the close of trading:

Fluor fell $1.37 or 2.6 percent, to $51.86.

Foster Wheeler fell $.50 or 2.2 percent, to $22.47.

Quanta Services Inc. fell $.61 or 2.3 percent, to $26.04.

Shaw Group fell $.04 or .1 percent, to $43.58.
