Apollo Group rose $1.07 or 5.3 percent, to $21.28.

Career Education Corp. rose $.10 or 2.6 percent, to $3.77.

DeVry rose $.38 or 1.4 percent, to $26.68.

Strayer Education Inc. rose $1.28 or 2.3 percent, to $57.77.
