Kohl's Corp. rose $.07 or .1 percent, to $55.00.

Macy's Inc. rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $41.19.

Nordstrom rose $.59 or 1.0 percent, to $58.21.

J.C. Penney Co. rose $.39 or 1.7 percent, to $23.74.

Saks rose $.10 or 1.0 percent, to $10.52.

Sears Holdings Corp. rose $2.86 or 4.4 percent, to $67.91.

TJX Companies fell $.21 or .5 percent, to $41.67.
