Grains futures mostly rise, livestock prices mixed


CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices mostly rose Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 8.25 cents to $8.7425 a bushel; December corn rose 3.25 cents to $7.3875 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.58 a bushel; while January soybeans rose 9.75 cents to $15.13 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle added 0.03 cent to $1.2530 a pound; January feeder cattle slipped 0.17 cent to $1.4660 a pound; while December lean hogs fell 0.27 cent to 76.65 cents a pound.
