Carnival rose $.31 or .8 percent, to $38.97.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. rose $.37 or .8 percent, to $44.76.

MGM Resorts International rose $.21 or 2.1 percent, to $10.31.

Marriott International Inc. rose $.13 or .4 percent, to $36.77.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. fell $.03 or .1 percent, to $34.94.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. rose $.38 or .7 percent, to $53.04.

Wynn Resorts rose $.69 or .6 percent, to $112.21.
