Amazon rose $3.23 or 1.4 percent, to $237.56.

eBay rose $.14 or .3 percent, to $49.49.

Google fell $1.24 or .2 percent, to $681.72.

Groupon Inc. rose $.09 or 2.3 percent, to $3.99.

LinkedIn Corp. fell $3.15 or 2.9 percent, to $104.14.

Yahoo rose $.09 or .5 percent, to $17.46.

Zynga Inc. unchanged at $2.24.
