Grains futures mixed, livestock prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices were mixed Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 5 cents to $8.6950 a bushel; December corn added 4.75 cents to $7.4425 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.67 a bushel; while January soybeans fell 6.75 cents to $15.20 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell 0.22 cent to $1.2520 a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.57 cent to $1.4610 a pound; while December lean hogs fell 0.35 cent to 77.40 cents a pound.
