ACE L fell $.96 or 1.2 percent, to $77.37.

Aflac Inc. fell $.08 or .2 percent, to $50.86.

American International Group fell $1.61 or 4.6 percent, to $33.59.

MBIA fell $.16 or 1.6 percent, to $9.81.

MGIC Investments Corp. rose $.01 or .5 percent, to $1.95.

MetLife fell $.18 or .5 percent, to $35.30.

XL Group PLC fell $.49 or 2.0 percent, to $24.18.
