NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

Blackrock Global Opportunity Equity Trust : Approximately 1,778,600 shares changed hands, a 642.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.35 or 2.6 percent to $13.30.

Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. : Approximately 1,212,600 shares changed hands, a 2,049.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.94 or 22.3 percent to $3.28.

Cabela's Inc. : Approximately 5,632,500 shares changed hands, a 763.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $9.04 or 16.4 percent to $46.10.

DuPont Fabros Technology Inc. : Approximately 8,189,900 shares changed hands, a 1,150.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $2.17 or 9.2 percent to $21.44.

Excel Trust Inc. : Approximately 3,613,800 shares changed hands, a 3,395.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.10 or .8 percent to $12.30.

New York Times Co. : Approximately 8,795,400 shares changed hands, a 642.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $2.34 or 22.0 percent to $8.31.
