Citigroup Inc. rose .3 percent to $37.41 with 32,296,000 shares traded.

EMC Corp. fell 1.3 percent to $24.14 with 25,693,300 shares traded.

Ford Motor Co. rose 2.2 percent to $10.39 with 57,694,800 shares traded.

General Electric Co. was unchanged at $21.26 with 44,673,100 shares traded.

LSI Logic Corp. rose 7.3 percent to $6.75 with 39,187,100 shares traded.

Pfizer Inc. rose 1.2 percent to $25.61 with 25,783,800 shares traded.

Regions Financial Corp. rose 2.3 percent to $6.61 with 26,399,100 shares traded.

Sprint Nextel Corp. fell 1.8 percent to $5.52 with 98,495,400 shares traded.
