Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. rose $.44 or .7 percent, to $60.01.

Dominion Resources Inc. fell $.50 or 1.0 percent, to $51.95.

Duke Energy Corp. rose $.43 or .7 percent, to $64.75.

Exelon fell $.23 or .6 percent, to $35.64.

PG&E rose $.12 or .3 percent, to $42.04.

Southern Co. rose $.19 or .4 percent, to $46.23.
