Carnival rose $.89 or 2.4 percent, to $38.66.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. rose $1.96 or 4.4 percent, to $46.25.

MGM Resorts International rose $.24 or 2.3 percent, to $10.88.

Marriott International Inc. rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $36.47.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. rose $2.59 or 8.3 percent, to $33.74.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. fell $1.77 or 3.3 percent, to $51.66.

Wynn Resorts rose $8.14 or 7.2 percent, to $120.43.
