ConAgra Foods Inc. rose $.43 or 1.5 percent, to $28.32.

General Mills Inc. rose $.33 or .8 percent, to $39.91.

Hormel Foods Corp. rose $.69 or 2.4 percent, to $29.29.

Kellogg rose $.74 or 1.4 percent, to $52.56.

Mondelez International Inc. fell $.06 or .2 percent, to $26.47.

Smithfield Foods Inc. rose $.45 or 2.2 percent, to $20.73.

J.M. Smucker Co. rose $.73 or .9 percent, to $85.76.

Tyson Foods Inc. fell $.03 or .2 percent, to $16.37.
