Macy's Inc. fell $.23 or .6 percent, to $38.65.

Nordstrom rose $.01 or percent, to $54.97.

J.C. Penney Co. rose $.11 or .4 percent, to $24.82.

Saks rose $.04 or .4 percent, to $10.19.

Sears Holdings Corp. rose $.18 or .3 percent, to $61.85.

TJX Companies fell $.09 or .2 percent, to $41.90.
