NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top oil companies are up at 1 p.m.:

BP PLC rose $.47 or 1.1 percent, to $41.87.

Chevron rose $.94 or .9 percent, to $110.32.

ConocoPhillips rose $.28 or .5 percent, to $56.34.

Exxon Mobil Corp. rose $.25 or .3 percent, to $90.43.

Marathon Oil Corp. rose $.54 or 1.8 percent, to $30.10.
