Kohl's Corp. fell $.25 or .5 percent, to $51.46.

Macy's Inc. fell $.23 or .6 percent, to $39.24.

Nordstrom fell $.25 or .5 percent, to $55.22.

J.C. Penney Co. fell $.70 or 2.7 percent, to $24.92.

Saks fell $.03 or .3 percent, to $10.09.

Sears Holdings Corp. rose $.82 or 1.4 percent, to $61.39.

TJX Companies fell $.35 or .8 percent, to $42.23.
