Apple Inc. rose $2.87 or .5 percent, to $616.22.

Dell Inc. fell $.07 or .8 percent, to $9.28.

Hewlett Packard Co. fell $.11 or .8 percent, to $14.15.

International Business Machines Corp. fell $.33 or .2 percent, to $190.92.

Lexmark International Inc. fell $1.31 or 5.8 percent, to $21.21.
