NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top oil companies are down at 1 p.m.:

BP PLC fell $1.10 or 2.6 percent, to $41.55.

Chevron fell $3.31 or 2.9 percent, to $109.43.

ConocoPhillips fell $1.07 or 1.9 percent, to $55.97.

Exxon Mobil Corp. fell $1.97 or 2.1 percent, to $90.22.

Marathon Oil Corp. fell $.76 or 2.5 percent, to $29.33.
