Grains futures, livestock prices mostly rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices mostly rose Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery jumped 21.25 cents to $8.90 a bushel; December corn rose 5 cents to $7.61 a bushel; December oats were flat at $3.86 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 13.75 cents to $15.67 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.17 cent to $1.2702 a pound; November feeder cattle rose 0.25 cent to $1.4730 a pound; while December lean hogs rose 0.38 cent to 78.50 cents a pound.
