Governor honors ND business women

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple is honoring business women for their contributions to the state.

Dalrymple has proclaimed this week as Business Women's Week in North Dakota.

Dalrymple says about 25 percent of North Dakota businesses are owned by women. The governor says North Dakota's working women and women business owners are "creating jobs, expanding business opportunities and bringing leadership skills and innovative ideas to a variety of industries."
