Aetna rose $.72 or 1.7 percent, to $44.26.

Cigna Corp. rose $.67 or 1.3 percent, to $50.33.

Coventry Health Care Inc. rose $.31 or .7 percent, to $43.87.

Humana Inc. rose $1.22 or 1.6 percent, to $76.20.

UnitedHealth Group rose $.88 or 1.6 percent, to $56.54.

WellPoint rose $1.21 or 2.0 percent, to $63.03.
