NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top computer companies were down at the close of trading:

Apple Inc. fell $22.80 or 3.6 percent, to $609.84.

Dell Inc. fell $.25 or 2.6 percent, to $9.55.

Hewlett Packard Co. fell $.32 or 2.2 percent, to $14.48.

International Business Machines Corp. fell $1.60 or .8 percent, to $193.36.

Lexmark International Inc. fell $.24 or 1.1 percent, to $21.68.
